I am selling my XJ8 - love this car but time to move on. It is a beautiful car that has given me many miles of satisfaction. I've posted often on this site with my issues and what I did to resolve them. This car runs great, has a rebuilt transmission (can't remember exactly when but probably 20k miles ago), replaced several parts (see posts or ask me, not hiding anything).

The only issues that is has right now are (1) air bag light comes on once in a while, probably a connection issue under the driver's seat but I never got to the bottom of it, (2) ABS (etc) light comes on once in a blue moon, possibly a wheel speed sensor (always goes off with a restart), and (3) clunking in rear suspension that my indy mechanic thinks is related to upper and lower rear shock bushings.

Interior is remarkable for a car this old, but does have wear on the driver's seat.

Just replaced battery. Regular oil changes, usually by myself so no records (but I give you my word!)

Would love to sell this car locally to someone who can give it the tender loving care that it deserves. If not, I'll just trade it in and basically give it away.
