Up for sale is my family's 2004 XJ8. VIN SAJEA71C54SG11290.

If you're looking at the XJ8, the car needs no introduction. This is a wonderful example that can be driven every day.

She has been part of our family for over three years and will be missed terribly. I am the second owner and purchased her in 2010 with 41k miles. She's now at 91k miles and is currently a daily driver.

British Racing Green on Barley.

Correctly optioned. 18" wheels, Xenon self-leveling lamps, and premium 17-speaker Alpine stereo. No nav. Best stereo I've ever heard in any automobile.

Overall condition is very good. Strong 8.5 out of 10.

She has been serviced at Sam & Joe's Foreign Car Repair and City Garage in Arlington, TX. Previous owner had her serviced at Barrett Jaguar in San Antonio, TX.

I have replaced the common-failure items with OEM parts, including new Throttle Body (TB) assembly, two new air shocks, new MAF sensor, new mass air intake boot, new coolant reservoir, new battery, new tires, and a number of other components. She runs superbly and has never let my family down.

Cosmetically, there are a few nits as a result of it being a daily driver:

1.) There is a quarter-sized ding on the driver side rear wheel well from an elderly lady backing into her. I am not interested in breaking the paint, so it has not been repaired (by "breaking the paint", I mean having someone besides the manufacturer paint a section of the car. The car has a mirror finish and I don't think any paint shop could get it exactly right. I'd rather have a ding or scratch than paint with slight differences in colors and textures).

2.) There is a quarter-sized ding in the passenger-side chrome bumper trim. I've got the replacement chrome strip, but have not had an opportunity to install the replacement. This will come with the car.

3.) About a year and a half ago, some tatted-up gorilla in a fart-canned Civic thought he was auditioning for a part in "Fast and Furious" and made a 90-degree turn across four lanes of traffic about 15 yards in front of the car. An oncoming F-150 reacquainted this gentleman with why this is a bad idea. There was no impact to the Jaguar, but there were some minor scratches from flying glass on the hood. These scratches have been touched up and look pretty good.

4.) There is some small scratching on the rear bumper. Again, you can’t see it unless you're detailing it.

I have service records and all three keys (two fobs and valet key).

The car gets compliments nearly every day. She is beautiful.
