Hey guys,

Walking sideways through puzzles, toys and books the other day, it dawned on me that we have outgrown our home.

So I need to sell my beloved XJ8 to help raise funds for a new house. I had planned on keeping it, and would do so if we didn't need to move.

I bought it in July 2010 and it's one of the finest cars I've ever had.

Maintenance items - I've replaced the throttle body, both front and the driver's side rear shocks, new brakes, recent battery, wipers, bulbs. The headliner was replaced with a dove grey fabric which contrasts wonderfully with the tan pulls.

Very clean in and out. At least 8.5/10. The car was "involved" in a three-car accident back in 2012. I use "quotes" because the only damage to my car was scratches in the hood left by flying glass from cars 1 and 2. The hood was professionally refinished. At the same time, a nickel-size ding in the wheel arch was also corrected. It looks great.

No codes or other known major issues at this time. Mileage as of 7/20 is 100,100.

She's not a museum piece, but one heck of a nice daily driver, especially for the money. I have all three keys (2 driver + 1 valet).

I would like to get $7200 for the car and would definitely prefer to sell to an enthusiast before I put on eBay. Will consider all reasonable offers however.
