I'm possibly buying an 83 parts car in the next week or so for the tranny, coolant tank and trunklid. The floorpans are rusted out but it was a running car. Anyone interested in any other parts?

 

does it have the trip computer or the analog clock?
id be interested in the clock if it has one.

also, any chance it has the euro version headlights?

 

I won't pick it up until the end of the month at the earliest, so when I do I'll let you know about the clock. It has the US quad headlights.

 

If it is a hardtop I would be very interested in the interior trim for the A (I think that one includes the trim over the doors) and B pillars. I can also use the instrument cluster and the V12 emblem from the grill.

I haven't looked at the shifter too closely to know what shape it's in, but when I was pulling the tranny I noticed the cable was shot anyway. I'll try to pull it either tomorrow or next day. If you PM me your email or a cell number I will snap a pic of it once it's out and just make me a reasonable offer!

This car has the original Jaguar radio in it! Wonder if it works? Lol!

 

Does this car have the "XJS" and "H.E." emblems on the back?

 

It has XJS and V12 on the back of the trunklid, however I'm switching the lid with mine which has the XJS and HE emblem. They seem to be in pretty good shape if you want them, PM me an offer?

 

I have a 1978 XJ-S and I need the right parking brake caliper and linkage, and the tie plate for the rear suspension, are you willing to separate the rear suspension? Thanks

Hmmm...I don't know why I wasn't getting notifications to this post, but I appologize for not answering! The interior is pretty shot now. Seats aren't salvagable.
I do have the parking brake linkage if anyone still wants it!
I don't know what it would cost to ship the motor. At 700 lbs I would think it would be costly, but I can look into it if you still want?

 

I need 2 side mirror screws if available. Also front running lights if you have them.

I know I don't have the front running lights (or driving lights) but I'm positive I have those screws. I will check to make sure they aren't corroded and if so, mail them to you. I'll need you to PM me an address.

 

I need the crossover pipe that goes from one thermostat housing to the other.

 

I would be interested in the heads if you are able to remove them
