I have a 1988 VDP That i Had illusions of Grander buying. Bought it From Inland Florida. Was originally sold in Santa Barbera, California. I'm the second owner picked it up from Evil -Bay last fall for likely to much? This is A Great running, Driving car, Needs love all around though, All Small stuff for someone in the know i'm sure. Need After reading through several threads here i've found it needs rear end lubrication as it has started to make noise in the 2k miles i've driven it since just before Christmas. No no that's not all, needs brakes done all around,Fuel filler catch release is inop aswell. Trunk struts need replaced. Front passenger window only operates from the drivers side switch. Rear door exterior handles are not functional,can only open rear doors from the inside,rear speakers under seats need replaced as these are dry rotted. Hood rubs into front grill when opening hood. has several scratches on the hood from this. Car has 163k miles, But runs and drives beautifully IMHO. Oil has been changed, Has New Battery, Starts Very easily. Car has Zero Rust. I have put Lucas oil fuel additive since i got it was told it has always been used from day one with this car. Sunroof works well. Headliner needs love, is less than perfect but all tucked behind the trim panels. Drivers seat as you might expect with this many miles could use recovering. Air works well, Heat does aswell, Heated seats work as they should. Tires have 50-60 % tread life left.

I am afraid your Spidey Sense is a bit off. I spent almost 3 hours removing the speakers from each of the doors and both speakers underneath the rear seat for you. The trunk struts only took me a few minutes but I feel like I am already behind the eight ball so anything more on my end would be foolish. Fortunately I am not out any money just my time.

Hello Chris, Sorry i havn't gotten back to you asyet. Yes my desire for these parts is real. Unfortunately my spending wings have been clipped for a while. Momma says i can't spend a dime until i have covered the debts just made over the last few weeks. Again i'm sorry i know only $100 but i'll be forced to live in the garage if i get them right now.
