98 XJR Body Control Module
You need the info from the VCATS (vehicle configuration and technical specifications) label in the boot. Look behind the carpet on the left or around the spare wheel.
You will see somethimg like
BPM LNC2500CE/001
The /XXX on the module is not the correct suffix. If you call the dealer they will ask for the correct last 3 numbers to get the right part because the JEPC says "USE THE PORTABLE DIAGNOSTIC UNIT TO DETERMINE THE PART NUMBER". You can interogate the module with PDU, WDS or IDS to get the part number. The last 3 digits from the donor car BPM VCATS should match your BPM VCATS. I don't know if a different number will work because I have never tried it.
