This carnival red coupe is a head-turning custom Jaguar XK8. The air blows ice cold and the heat is warm. The engine and transmission run smooth and there are no leaks. I have 100% feedback and I will describe the car to the best of my ability. Please send me questions and I will answer them promptly to the best of my ability. The reason I'm selling this car is I just purchased a Mercedes SL500 and can't afford two expensive toys. This is my everyday car and I've driven for a little over the past year to and from work in Milwaukee. The car gets 22 MPG highway, not bad for a performance car!

I bought this car last year from a gentleman in California (Here on Ebay) who got is from a custom shop. This car was located in California from 1998 until I purchased it and had it shipped to Wisconsin. When I purchased the car the shop said this custom car was freshly painted in 2007 and had 22" Custom Zennetti Wheels. The Custom Shop said the wheels were $2,600 for the set and the rims were painted to match the car. I believe the rims are the Zennetti Spartan model. The car also has Lambo doors installed professionally and they said this was a $2,500 job and were professionally installed. The doors work smooth and well, a real eye catcher. The original interior fabric was professionally replaced with a very nice tan suede to match the burl woodwork (see pictures). The interior is in very nice shape except for normal wear on the drivers seat. Also the drivers seat belt button must be pressed when buckling-up. I also just had a new power window button and window motor installed on the drivers door (It was sticking). The body is in very nice shape (see pics) except the drivers side wheel well is touched up. The paint is the original color and is called Carnival Red. The third brake light never worked from when I purchased it and I never got around to getting it replaced. The Custom Shop he bought it from said they broke it when installing the custom suede interior. I have a source for used Jaguar parts on a Forum I belong to I could supply you with. In the past year I had the front and rear ball joints replaced, a new battery installed and the drivers power window switch and motor replaced. Even though it is a beautiful car it is 10 years old and has normal wear. I'm very particular about my cars and take good care of them. This is a very nice car and a real unique head turner. If you want something that will stand out and catch people attention this is it! Check the pictures out below.

This XK8 Automatic Coupe features Custom Lambo Doors, 22" Zenetti Rim, 6 CD changer, Air Conditioning, Cassette. Climate control, Cruise, Multi-function wheel, Traction Control, Memory, Lumbar, Wood trim, Garage door opener & powerful 4.0L V8. I have carfax report I just ran for this car and I can fax you a copy if you like.

This vehicle is also for sale locally and on Ebay. All questions and comments are welcome from anyone seriously considering an offer.

$500 DEPOSIT REQUIRED WITHIN 24 HOURS OF PURCHASE (OR DEAL MAY BE CANCELLED), BALANCE BY BANK WIRE OR MONEY ORDER WITHIN 7 DAYS. Please let me know if you have any questions.

The BUYER is responsible for shipping. I will assist with buyer with shipping and work for a smooth transport with thier shipping company. I have used DAS in the past with good result. Please let me know if you hanve any questions.

Thanks!

Note that in the engine pix, the coolant hose on the front of the engine compartment is collapsed, indicating that all the coolant hoses need to be replaced right away lest they fail. The short hose attached to the front of the plastic thermo housing also is bulging something fierce and needs to be replaced. And the thermo housing and probably the water pump need to be upgraded. I see that the car is no longer listed on eBay. I hope the new buyer was aware of the mechanical challenges that lay hidden in plain sight.

I shouldn't worry too much about it, the post is well over a year old. It often suprises me as to how these get dug up from time to time.

Dug up? In this case, more like regurgitated. Whoever did that to an XK8 should have their parole revoked.

Ugh......I could have sworn they are called "Lamborghini Doors" because, oh I don't know, they belong on Lamborghini's!!!
Aside from that, those wheels are gawd awful too. A real disgrace to the cat!

I like to think of myself as a reasonable individual, willing to live and let live, understanding that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that sort of thing... but come on, some things are just wrong dammit

At the end of the day, if this car was at a jaguar event, I guarantee you it would have the biggest crowds around it and be the most remembered. Good bad or otherwise, it won't be forgotten!! It's darn picture seems to always pop up on the images list when I search XK8!!! A car that will live in infamy!!! Lol
