Eaton Supercharger M112 5th generation low mileage
Have several 4.2 superchargers (10Kmiles, 30Kmiles and 1 50Kmiles). They will also fit on the older 4.0 cars, and have the advantage that they make less noise due to the helical gears (in contrast to the 4.0 ones).
And they also have better/stronger bearings than the 4.0 ones, so will last longer, and could be of interest to those that either want to port their superchargers of speed them up with pulleys.

I recently got a 2009 XF (non supercharged) and was curious about adding a supercharger. Haven't gotten much research on it done yet, but saw this posting and it got me thinking. Can you just add these on, and if so would that have a impact on any warranties? Are they what Jaguar uses on the factory? Thx.
There is a lot to think about/to do, here is a link form someone that has done it for a XK8:

In the end it is much cheaper to trade in your car for an R, and then you can easily even mod more.

Have a look at the link in the post #4 it is also relevant for the SType, everything is possible at a price, but cheaper to buy a STR in the first place.
