WTB[Western US]: Looking to buy a 2004-2006 coupe
I am looking to buy a 2004-2006 xkr coupe with low miles (~ 15K-50K), prefer a victory edition, prefer silver, but grey/black may be considered, prefer carbon fiber (but not required), prefer recaro seats (but not required), black dash/steering wheel (required), prefer sepang wheels (but not required), condition (excellent)
Let me know if you want to sell or know of one for sale. FYI - I am familiar with all cars for sale currently online (ebay, autotrader, cargurus, etc.)...there are a few nice one's but just not exactly what I'm looking for.

Good Luck,
I have heard it suggested that up to 90% of the XK8's and XKR's (X100) imported to the U.S. were convertibles. This makes coupe's quite rare.
If you look at the number of convertibles for sale vs the number of coupes, that ratio seems to be about right. It also seems that is being reflected in the asking price of the 05-06 XKR coupe's which are very rare beasts indeed.
It took me 2 years to find my low mileage 05 XKR coupe.
Regards,

Here is an Ebony/Warm Charcoal Canadian 2004 XKR coupe with 55,558 miles
2004 Jaguar XKR - Thornhill $21,900 | autoTRADER.ca
There were only 91 "2004" XK's sold in Canada
and it has the option of a heated windshield [Canada only]
and the Detroit Wheels
they want $21,900CDN [ approx $16,700USD]
Then you have to ship it for about $3,000.00 +/- to LA from Toronto
Nice thing about these XK cars from the east... they generally don't get driven in the winter... so no salted roads... they just store them in heated garages, like my friend in Calgary does.
Car Storage Calgary, Auto Storage Calgary, Alberta, Vehicle, Automobile Storage, secure facilities, luxury, exotic, classic or special auto, electronic gated access to premise, video surveillance
Cheers

Hi jbarbakow
Oh right, you need to have better emissions...
I would think there may be Mods to do, but dont know.
I think Toronto, Ontario has smog testing, but not sure if it's as strict as LA
your local DMV would be a good place for some guidance I would think.
I just imported a my 2006 coupe from LA a few months ago, and I had to get a federal and provincial safety inspection (everything had to work) and have Jag dealer turn on the daytime running lights module on( Canadian law to have headlights on always)
Good luck in your search
