Victory Edition Production numbers
Hello,
I was getting ready for a car show and wanted to find out how many of the Victory Edition models were produced for each type of configuration and have not been able to find that anywhere. I requested a breakdown of the production numbers from the Jaguar Heritage Trust Foundation. It turns out there were a total of 1119 produced and sold. Here are the figures I was given:
Dear Sir
Our researcher gives the following figures for the Victory edition: XK Convertible - 617, Coupe - 53 and XKR Convertible - 382, Coupe 67
I hope this is of assistance to you.
Kind regards,

Boasting about one's successes (a.k.a. bragging) is inherent in the auto industry. Tooting your own horn often draws attention, which automakers hope, in turn, will sell cars. But, all too often, there is little substance behind the boasting and bragging, and the public soon realizes there's nothing really new and they've been caught up in a marketing ploy.
That's not the case with Jaguar's unveiling of the 2006 XK Victory Edition at the 2005 Los Angeles Auto Show. In recognition of the Jaguar XK's success in the North American Trans-Am racing series (including the 2004 championship), the 2006 Jaguar XK Victory Edition will be on sale starting in June of 2005.
Enhancements will be made to 1,050 Jaguar XK coupes and convertibles, including Brembo brakes, checkered flag badges and trim, and standard Bluetooth communications technology. XK8 versions will roll on 19-inch chrome alloy wheels, while XKR models will be fitted with 20-inch BBS wheels. In addition to what is currently available, four unique colors will be offered for the 2006 Jaguar XK Victory Edition: Black Copper Metallic; Frost Blue Metallic; Bay Blue Metallic; and Satin Silver Metallic.
According to C.J. O'Donnell, Jaguar's Executive Vice President of Marketing and Communications, shoppers should expect pricing to start at about $75,000.
