I was interested in knowing the 2008 production numbers for the XKR. I contacted JagUSA and was told that this information was proprietary! I could not believe that and after several futile attempts realized I was going to get nowhere with this person. I emailed JagUK and within 24 hours received the following.

Please find below the required information ref the Jaguar XKR 2008 model year.


Worldwide Total = 3973
Worldwide Convertible = 1819
Worldwide Coupe = 2154


USA Total = 1268
USA Convertible = 750
USA Coupe = 518




With this information it appears that I have one of 518 coupes imported into the US. I like that.

Yes, these are just the XKR totals. At least that is what I asked for and what Ilia from JagUK reported back in her response to me.

 

what is JagUK email, would like to ask them numbers on the 09 and 10 models

Thanks for doing the research. I have been trying to find the production numbers for the 2008 XKR as well. Looks like I also have one of the 518 imported to the US. Wonder how many are still out there and what colors they are.

I have an 08 XKR Portfolio, only 255 were shiped to US. I have heard different numbers between Coupe v Convertable. Do you think you could ask your source.
