Hello,
Up for sale is my Jaguar S-type sport. Let me first start of saying that this is my joy and pride, this is what pretty much all of my free time was dedicated to for the past year and a half. This car is made in 2000. This is the Jaguar S-type 3.0L V6. Stock this car has 240horses, and was quite beefy when I got it stock. After I got it, I was leaning into the side of modifying it a little, but nothing over the top. I was after the “euro tuner scene” trying to enhance the exterior appearance of the “cat” and beefing up the engine a little”. I wanted to keep the car clean, and I have accomplished that. This car has been meticulously cared for. The car has been washed at least once every week, waxed at least once in two weeks. Professionally detailed every month. ( I am a part time detailer). Also I have every single record for this vehicle. The car has been serviced at Manhattan jaguar, and Jaguar Master Auto for EVERYTHING that needs to be done. Car had oil changes done and check ups every 3 thousand miles, also had the spark plugs, coils, wires done 7 thousand miles ago ($1200 service). The car currently has 84K miles, but runs like brand new, and once again.. I just can’t stress how much I have been looking after this car, every little squeak got taken into the shop (car has no problems at all, very reliable). Overall this has been my baby, that I am really going to miss, but I need something like an Audi, something that’s a sedan but, it has to be AWD.
Here are some of the factory options. This was a fully loaded jaguar, the only thing it doesn’t have is navigation.
-leather seating, power seats, headed seats, memory seats, leather steering wheel, REAL!! wood trim. power windows, locks, steering, brakes. Pioneer premium stock sound system. Sunroof, climate control for 2 passengers. Leather trimmed doors etc. Alarm, keyless entry, rain sensing wipers, rear air etc. etc. etc. etc….
Below is a list of all of the modifications I have done:
-H&R lowering springs $300
-Bilstein sport struts $250
-Rennen custom made 18x8.5 rims $950
-245/40/18 tires $600
-JaguarXP chrome mesh grille $150
-JaguarXP cold air intake $90
-Custom BORLA dual exhaust w/ Borla chrome tips $700
-20% tint $220
-Smoked out taillights $60
-Smoked out side markers $40
-Smoked out fog lights $40
-Smoked out turn signals $40
-Smoked out head lights $60
-8000K HID in headlights $250
-20% tint strip $50
-10000K HID in fogs $250
-R1 premium cross drilled and slotted brake rotors (4) $400 Done less than a thousand miles ago
-Premium racing ceramic pads made by R1 $120 Done less than a thousand miles ago.
-MAD CAT British license plate $25.00
-Painted calipers
I was aiming for a clean, nice look, and that is what I accomplished. This car turns heads everywhere it goes. The exhaust sounds sweet, and so does the car look amazing. From the claims of the website where I got all the engine performance parts, I should be around 270 horses right now, and I felt the kick after I installed the exhaust and the intake.
The car has a completely clean title and history. Has never been in an accident, has never been raced/tracked or abused.

so on the s-type you have to pay extra for leather seats, leather steering wheel, leather door panels, alarm, keyless entry, wood trim, and power windows - steering - brakes and locks? seems like a ripoff to me as they are all standard on the X which costs considerably less.

Yeah I'd hope that the more expensive of the line-up would include everything the lower line has! I didn't even pay attention to that...did you end selling the car? I don't like the s-type's but I actually like that!
