Default For Sale 4 asteroid wheels + 2 racing slicks

For sale 3 very good asteroid wheels + 1 which has a bend in it (fixable, but may be cheaper to buy another used wheel) the bend is where the pink string is tied. It is worse than it looks in the photo, it probably ran over a pothole or something.

Comes with two racing slicks, but one has cracks in the sidewall, so I don't trust that one.

Soooo basically this is the sale of 3 very good and 1 not so good Asteroid wheels.

The price makes up for any defects, first $350 can come pick them up in the San Francisco East bay. PM me for address.

Before and after...few hours of hard labor and they shine up nicely.

I just saw the photos of the box and wheels. I am soooo sorry and will completely make this right with you.

I delegated this to an employee to pack and ship. He has packed and shipped aquariums for me before successfully, so I ASSumed this would be done correctly. Obviously it was not. These must have already been in the process of being damaged just going into the box, let alone being bounced around for 1000 miles of trucking. Corrections will made on my end.

I am a little surprised you did not contact me first, but, regardless, whatever you would like to do to make this right, I will do. Including a full refund including shipping. Just let me know.

Question: Were these shipped just in that box with the 4 rims banging against each other?? In your photo it appears that the 4 rims were just stacked one on top of the other which is a recipe for ensuring their destruction while traveling on a truck.

I just sent you a PM.

Im sorry, you are right, I should have contacted you first.

I don't know how to "make it right" as I need the wheels before the salt flies and am getting pressed for time. We can handle this through PM or text. Im good with either.

They were shipped just as you saw, the wheels stacked right on top of each other...

Ill talk to you, thank you Jeff. I appreciate your willingness to help.

Ok,

Just let me know what you would like, and it is done. It is much more important for me that you be happy with the outcome, rather than worry about any amount of money.

It is very important to me that I always deliver whatever was promised, and the condition the wheels arrived in clearly was not as promised.

It is very important to me that those who know me, rely on me, or have done business with me maintain 100% confidence that I will always deal on the level, and completely reliably.

It turns out here that the person I delegated this packing and shipping task, then he himself further delegated it to someone else, who was less competent, and the photos show that result. I am responsible and am willing to take my lumps to make it right.

Guys,

I was sorry to read there had been an issue with this transaction.

That being said, it was good to see how well it was handled on both sides. A perfect example of what makes this forum and the members such a great place.

Graham,

This is a great place with a lot of great people here. I should have contacted Jeff before hand. I know better and let my emotions get the best of me.

I am editing this and you can close it as items sold!

Chris
