hi all as you prob know, mine was going to the park in the sky,not taking to scrap yard stripping it at home so any one needing parts don"t pay silly prices get in touch with first atmo have all parts got myself a 308 now so on there
What colour is it? & what state is the drivers seat frame in? Wheels/tyres? Also, didn't you fit new brakes amongst other things, very soon before having to scrap it?
colour is jgm saffire, wheels are 245/18/40 in good con, and tyres have4.5 to 6.0 ml tread , have full drivers seat frame as new, fitted new front pads done less than 100miles looking a bit rusty as just stood, but will clean up with use, have sent you a private message
Do you still have the coolant level sensor? It's the little probe that fits in a slot in the underside of the coolant reservoir.

x300man, I just realized you're in the UK, so I have no idea on cost of shipping to Florida, USA. How's $15USD for the part, and if shipping wasn't over $10 the deal would seem fair to me. Let me know.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Hi there,
I have been looking about for a right (drivers side) rear wheel speed sensor for my 96 4.0 itre Sovereign, without any joy. Main dealer prices are scary and I'd hate to spend a load of money on a "maybe". I sorted one or two problems and am left with a diagnostics, pointing to the above.
I had to butcher the original sensor when removing it for cleaning as it disintegrated and have since replaced it with one from my donor car, a 97 3.2. The sensor from the 97 car has a black plastic housing, whereas the original had a metal housing. The black plastic sensor also sits in a different position, with the connector being positioned between the sensor and the backplate on the hub. The metal one sat at right angles to the backplate.
I suspected that Jaguar changed te sensor during production, but any illustrations that I've seen online show the black plastic version, stating tht they are for the x300, 95-97.
I have tried both donor sensors and still have my ABS light and absolutely HAVE to get it sorted for my annual inspection.
So, do you have any (metal) rear wheel speed sensors. Or could you do a comparison, ie; what is your year model and what type of sensors are fitted to it.
Apologies for the long post and good luck with the new car!
