Default Speedometer Transducer

I have an '82 Jaguar XJS for which I need a speedometer transducer. Anyone have one floating around they could let me take off their hands?

Thanks,
Mat

Hey Mat,

Called around after talking to the dealership. The year XJS I have in my yard has a different interchange than yours. I was told by the dealership it wouldn't work and by another Jaguar enthusiast that it would. So I don't really know what else to do, I do have a co worker who knows jaguars up and down if you would wanna call in and talk with him. Maybe pick his brain as well.

The number is in my signature.

DAC4569 is the speedo transducer for the one on the THM400.

The later cars have the speed sensor in the diff assy.

I think the really early cars had a speedo cable.

Different transducers. The nut size is the reason.
Buy a used one and you're lucky if it works, or lasts.
