I have the dreaded TPS error, and am looking for a replacement throttle body from an AJ27 engine.
Prefer low mileage, and fault free, but happy to look at whatever's out there.

I'm aware that there are rebuild options out there as well. I'm hoping I may be able to find a replacement unit, and then keep the car on the road while I have my original rebuilt.

So far a brand new replacement throttle body is looking like it will cost $2000. I've seen people in the States buy entire engines for that much.
If anyone knows of anything out there, whether it be from a wrecker, or from an engine that has blown, I would be very grateful.

I have a throttle body from an AJ27 about 95k on the engine and its been sitting for a couple years covered. I'm using it for parts for my XJ8 would have to check into shipping cost to you but could get you back on the road while you rebuild yours.

 

Thanks, but I bit the bullet and bought a rebuilt unit from ASI instead. Getting it fitted tomorrow.
