The LNC4160AA changer in my 2000 XJR doesn't work, so before I throw it away I thought I'd see if anyone wants it, just pay the actual shipping cost.

I took it apart and did the adjustment to the spur gear to give it better engagement with the worm gear, but that wasn't it. It'll cycle through discs in the magazine and load each one, but most times it won't spin them at all. About 1 or 2 out of six it'll spin, and always different ones. It spins them kinda slowly to the right when then stops, but once it spun right then spun left, then increased its speed for about 10s and I thought it was going to work, but it ejected it.

If I move the laser assembly out toward the rim of the disc manually then when it starts up it'll move it to the center, so that's working. I think it's a problem with the drive motor, but it spins freely and feels fine.

Anyway, if you want it let me know, otherwise it goes to the landfill. Thanks.
