X308 XJ8 2000 Seafrost FOR SALE
I am about to have the worst day of my life. The day one of you drives away in the Jag I have love so much for so long. But it is time to let go.
Located in Atlanta, GA (intown near Emory univ / virginia highlands)
Got a new motor at 60k and a new tranny at 70k. May have been a blemish at the time, but now it means you are going to get a 130k car with way fewer miles on the engine and tranny.
Did poly bushings and shocks, new expansion tank and connections in the last year. Always oil changes and fluid serviced. Great michelin tires. All new hoses somewhere near 100k The rest is in the craigs ad.
Please ignore the 12k ask. Just trying to avoid stupid offers from the craigslist crowd. Make a good offer around 8,000 and it is yours!

Question about the motor

First of all, I love the Seafrost paint. I own an '03 XJ8 in Seafrost.
The color is subtle, amazing. You might try some more pics which
show just how striking the color can be.
Perhaps more important to this Forum crew: Does your XJ8 engine
have upgraded (all metal) cam chain tensioners? The plastic cam
chain tensioners were /are a major issue in the X308 XJ. Later
'03s had a design change (to metal) which addressed the issue.
