Default **official** intake elbow group buy thread

Finally after a few months of experiments, running into dead ends and chasing my tail. I see the light at the end of the tunnel.

As of right now there are 3 intake elbows being coated, for the final testing.

I know everyone has been on thier toes watching the development of the project so here it is.

Im waiting for the manafacture of the quick connect fitting to get back to me, so I can provide a product that you will not have to modify anything from the factory like I had to do with my full load tube.

So here are the prices as follows:

Basic Intake Elbow-$200
featuring a painted and baked ceramic finish in black. (exterior only)

Better Intake Elbow-$250 add $25 for interior coating as well.
featuring a baked only higher ceramic content for better heat deflection (black for now, ask me about custom colors and I will see if I can make it happen)

Best Intake Elbow-$325
Featuring the toughest highest content ceramic baked coating available. (Aviation grade coating)
Coated exterior and interior for maximum dissapation of heatsoak and deflection.

**RISKI'S ELBOW WILL BE MADE WITH NO ADDITIONAL COST AS A TRIBUTE TO A GOOD FRIEND AND A GREAT MAN FOR SERVING HIS COUNTRY, AND A FORUM CONTRIBUTOR.**

I will be editing this post as time goes on with more information and pictures.

The Groupbuy will be open for a minimum of 10 elbows mixed.
I will require a 50% deposit for your name in the slot. If you are interested let me know which one you would like and I will add you to the list.

I will accept Money orders, checks(once cleared your name will be added),Paypal
My Paypal is pissed_off_waffle@yahoo.com

In the event that all 10 slots do not get filled dont worry the ones who participated will either be refunded or I will pick up the slack.

So here we go.

Can you elaborate on what exactly the elbow does? Is this beneficial for those whose cars are mainly stock with no airbox, exhaust or pulley upgrades?

Thanks.

I'd like to see a sketch or a photo of one of the intakes before making a deposit.

.....Sorry to hear that bro, thats crazy! Hope you get well soon. I always have Tamiflu in stock at home; you never know when you can get H1N1 virus.

My guess is that it will help with heatsoak more than anything. At least that is how I am reasoning it.

H1N1 is very rare and often confused with the regular seasonal influenza virus. Vit D3 dificiency is the likely cause of most influenza infections due to a lack of UV rays this time of the year at our latitude. Tamiflu has been shown not to make much of a dent. I instruct my patients to either supplement with 1000 i.u of Vit D3 per 30 lbs body weight, or 10 minutes a week at a tanning salon (which also cures the winter time blues). Though I'm a doc this info. is for info. purposes only. Seek qualified health care advice. Now where's my modded intake tube!
