Looks good man!

I'd leave it as is - blends nicely with the color of your car. If you do polish the intercoolers, then no plastic cover. If you don't, maybe put it back on.

Mines still holding up with the clamp on the fitting. So should be good if you just use the clamp.

Can we order this now or should I wait for the new thread on it? I haven't found my perfect SRT yet but might as well start getting parts lined up. BTW I have a dyno in the shop so I will be getting a base line and then dyno each part as it goes on to document mods for the forum as I add them.

In for the better just let me know when to send the money.

I'd be in for the best one as long as I could get it shipped to the UK.

So there I was just a couple of hours ago getting onto the ramp to join the freeway traffic and just tipped in the throttle slightly and ::::booom::::: I get the dreaded restricted performance and the CEL light. Noooooooooooooooooo! I got home and see below for what I found. This was a problem before until Mafioso started sending out a hose clamp supposedly fixing this problem. Uh uh. As you can see, it still can rupture. The codes I pulled was P0174, P0171 and P1111. I htink most experts here would agree this is the cause.

My shout out to Mafioso is that you need to find a more permanent fix to this - obviously your choice of parts is not working out well. I'd hate for this to blow up when you're cruising in the middle of nowhere.

I think you owe it to all of us who bought your product to find a way. it's an easy enough fix I'm sure - just find a fitting that is strong enough to withstand the vaccum pressure and heat in this area. Just a heads up.

I'm putting the stock intake back until I figure out what to do. I just can't trust this setup especially I drive a lot of highway miles between AZ and NV.

I have one of the first ones sent out, with the hose clamp, in 90+ degree heat and have yet had a problem with mine?

After looking at your picture, it seems you might have put undo pressure on the rubber. I noticed it was a tight fit, but I made sure that the hose was pointed into the correct direction with no extra force on the side.
