Could it be that your fender is scoring the outer edge of the tire?

 

Discount Tire gave my tires a good rating. He checked them all out, and I showed him the specific issues, and he said they are fine and safe to drive on, but a little old. He pointed out that they were made in 2007, so possibly nearing 6 years in age based on date of install. He said the tread is fine, and again they are definitely safe to use. I asked him about the PSI and mentioned, whatever is on the door jam or fender is what you should set them at. He said its not necessary to put them near max based on what is on the side of the tire Granted this is just one guy, and a second opinion, but nonetheless its good to hear.

I dont think the inner fenders are touching the tire, everything is stock and I drive with the windows down about 4 months out of the year and have heard anything of the sort, even under spirited driving.

Overall the car drives just fine, sounds like artistic differences among passionate men. I appreciate the responses. Cheers.

 

I don't see anything major to be concerned about. 6 years old is about when you might think about replacing them, so its still something to consider.
