I just received my order from Nally last night. I had to replace one of my rear passinger side struts. Nelly sent it to me with shipping for $224. Also if you want to see what the cost will be, visit jaguarparts.com and search the online parts catalog. They want around $284 a piece for the front struts. Other site is jaguarpartscenter.com jaguar dealer out of KS.

Thanks for the info, as I suspected they are quite a bit cheaper than jagbits, and you get free shipping.

Nally might be a bit higher on the front struts, the price I gave you came from jaguarparts.com That place is also a pretty reliable source for jaguar parts. Its a big jaguar dealer in Cleveland OH part of Davis Auto Group.

Hi there I have a 2000 S type Jag 4.0L. The computer dash reads CATS System Fault. I had checked the CATS Computer for corrosion and for any kind of flaws in the wiring. None were present. I then hooked the computer back up and individually unhooked all the shock sensors to test them. The two rears had 7.75V the LF has 7.8V and the RF has a 4.9V reading. I unplugged the RF and started vehicle message was still on, I then replugged it and unplugged the LF shoch sensor and the CATS Fault message is gone....WHAT THE HEY?????

"Brutal" is the forum member best qualified to answer your inquiry, as he is a Jag tech. If you should need new CAT struts I have two almost new (5k miles, installed this past autumn) to sell. Jaguar sells them for $400+/each. I bought them through JagBits for $350/each. I'm selling them for $225/each. Otherwise I wish I could help you more in figuring out the CAT issue.

Hi Don. The CATS module is in the trunk before the spare tire on the rear bumper wall. Just open the trunk and look down in front of you to the left (if I recall correctly). You will see two moduls with plugs. Unplug the module on the right. You will have to disconnect the battery afterwards to remove the warning message. I too, went CATS-less using Bilstien's, who happens to be the manufacturer of the stock CATS struts.

The module on the left is for the back-up alert. Leave it plugged in.
