Hey gang, I was changing the rear tires because of a broken side belt on the passenger side and when we got to the driver's side we found a small crack on the inside rim lip. I've got the chromed 18x9.5 rear rims and I can't seem to find a matching replacement rim. Anyone got one? If not, Can it be properly welded? I am also having a hell of a time finding a different set of new wheels with the staggered (8" & 9.5") if that's what I have do. All I can find are 8" sets online. Would love some guidance. Thanks!

 

the staggered wheels can be somewhat difficult to find,

although, you should be able to locate one through car-part.com,

i just search 2005 s-type / wheel (display w/ image) / 18 x 9.5

and theres about 12 available through out the country,

any decent wheel repair shop should be able to fix it though.

 

it can easily be welded and re chromed....that would be way cheaper than a brand new one.. i think they run about $800..... i had all 4 of mine straightened one re welded and painted and cleared plus mount and balance for $1150 check tire rack.... i havent had any issues finding tires? continental extreme contacts is what im running... i think those are the stock tires? sorry re read, thought you were looking for a set of tires......therre are no wheels for these cars unless you go with a custom so they can get the proper off sets... Forgestars are about the cheapest ones available and their wait time can be long and in my opinion dont look any better than my stock painted rims.....definitely not $2000 worth
