Default 10% Pulley

Anyone have any experiences of the 10% upper pulley upgrade. I've ordered one, the guy said it was important to have efficient charge air cooling.
I shall monitor things and see how it goes. It's my daily driver, luckily I have a spare charger that I can machine and rebuild the snout on.

I think I speak on behalf of many other members when I say I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.

I'm assuming this is a smaller supercharger pulley for an STR?

I figured that you were installing a larger pulley on the supercharger but am not familiar with people worrying bout charge cooling mods on S-tyypes.

Don't build your hopes over big gains on this engine.

+1 you basically move the peak torque around. For more, get a better blower e.g. avos twin screw but you may have missed the last call for them.

Yes, I have had the 1.9 boost pulley for two years, you will definitely notice the difference. One other thing to consider. Change out the tensioner pulley and belt too. I work through Jag Repairs in Pompano Beach, Florida, USA. He told me that they discovered the old belt will slip at over 2500 RPM. We did the pulley first and then a few months later the tensioner and belt, he was right, I got more performance once the belt was changed too. I am posting some pics of engine mods I did for ideas you may be interested in also. Intake was from Caldoofy here at the forums.

Jaguar got it pretty right. Be aware of the tremendous problems of heat soak this style of blower has even stock. Adding any boost will make it much worse.

Do you live in a hot area?

It would be great to add Meth injection to combat this but have never seen a kit or anybody running it.

it has been proven by many , that as far a 1/4 mile times and trap speed goes the 10%
pulley is slower than the 6% pulley . as mentioned the heat soak is too much from the 10% and terminates speed/power after around mid track by pulling timing due to iat2 temps . and compromises trap speed .

were as the 6% pulls to the finish line ,
just ask cambo . the poor guy is kicking him self over his decision to run 10%.
mine has the 6% on it . and needed an i/c pump upgrade and extra i/c coolant capacity
to cope with what i wanted out of it .
might be wise to swap to a 6% if you can
