1999 nav screen / double din nav/dvd/radio

1999 nav screen / double din nav/dvd/radio
I have been thinking of getting a double din sat nav/dvd/radio in order to replace the 13 year old sat nav.
What i was wondering was, could the old nav screen be used as a rear view/reversing cam screen ?
even if the screen needs the old sat nav to power it or give it some sort of signal to switch on maybe i could just splice a cam feed in somehow.
Any ideas.
