1999 S Type

On cleaning the A post covers I noticed behind them are two connectors either side
My car has the wiper park heater which is connected to the lower connector

Two Questions
1) If I was to get hold of a full heated screen, would I be able to retro fit the electrics from the lower connector
2) What is the upper connector for? - A connection to an authentic heated screen, it appears to have no current outage? - Picture or wiring diargarm would be great

The fuse box appears to have fuses and relays conducive to a heated screen (ie the right fuse colour for screen rather than park heater)

Anyway, enough of my waffle, what do you recon?
