I know this is an old thread but it's one that I searched for and couldnt find an answer for. The attached illustration is not accurate from what I saw. The sensor is located on the drivers side of the engine, behind the AC compressor, towards the front of the block. There are two sensors in that area. Top one is the Oil sensor, back top, single wire and the bottom one is Coolant Sensor, grey top, double wire (quoted colors was original equipment).

Hope this helps someone else.
