My cigarette lighter is not working ... need it for my GPS. I have no manual .. so I go looking for the fuse box, and the bad fuse, .. by pulling them out 1 by 1, and replacing them. Well, .. now I have a "CATS system fault" message. Nothing is wrong with the car ... I just triggered the message. I have tried the "clear" button .. but, no luck. Any suggestions on how to make it go away? ... and by, the way .. where is the fuse for the lighter? UGH! Help!
Did you drop a penny in it?
The fuse for the lighter is on the passenger side under the glove box. just pop the interior colored cover off then the black fuse block cover off. It is on the bottom row, yellow 20 amp mini fuse, number 32. But there is an owners manual on the forums that should tell you.
As for the CATS fault I have no clue, try reseating all the fuses you checked then disconnect the battery for a few mins and see what happens.
