2000 S Type - Sunroof Issue
Well, the hits keep coming...
I had my headliner material replaced about a month ago. I took the car to a reputable shop. The work was done wery well. My fear was that something would go wrong with the sunroof.
I tested opening and closing the sunroof several times before I paid for the job. No issues.
This morning I pressed the key fob to open the windows and sunroof and the sunroof jammed.
Upon inspecting I found a plastic peice broken on the right side and the metal bar popped out. I have included some pictures. I was able to get the sunroof closed after pushing the metal bar back in the hole.
What are my options?
I can try to glue that plastic part back on but we know how that goes... if that part has any tension on it which I suspect it does no dice.
Or, am I looking at a new sunroof assembly as I know they don't have any servicable parts besides the motor and module.
Thanks for any advice
