Fellow Enthusiasts,
I sent my PCM out to be rebuilt. I was told it was unrepairable. I received it back. I called my local Ford dealership service dept. to ask if they could re-key/re-code a used PCM with the same Ford part # (XR8A-12A650-NBA) as my broken one. I purchase a used one (same Ford part #) off of eBay. I call up the Ford dealership to make an appt. They ask me for the Ford part #, then tell me it does not cross reference anymore. Explaining to me that an older "WTS" system is needed to recode something that old (2000). Does anyone have a suggestion as to a next step? The closest Jaguar dealership is 55 miles away and the service dept. never picks up their telephone.
