Default 2001 S-type 3.0 Codes 1383 and 1388

I get these two codes...

I was hoping somebody could explain in lehman's terms what to check for...

i have JTIS manual and it directs me to check voltages and resistances between pins on the solenoids... i cant find a diagram to explain where the pins are and how they are numbered...

here is step one:

"CHECK THE RESISTANCE OF THE VARIABLE CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL SOLENOID

Switch the ignition switch to the OFF position.
Disconnect the right-hand variable camshaft timing oil control solonoid PI5.
Measure the resistance between the variable camshaft timing oil control solenoid electrical connector PI5 pin 1, (GO) and pin 2, (WB).
Is the resistance between 5 and 20 ohms?

INSTALL a new right-hand variable camshaft timing oil control solenoid. For additional information, refer to CLEAR DTC. TEST the system for normal operation."

can somebody dumb this up for me? and what steps do you take before disconnecting the solenoid? which is PI5? Where are the pins? How do you clear DTC?

thanks
