I need to replace my water pump, thermostat, and intake manifold gasket. This is per Jaguar dealer. They want too much money to do so. I have a mechanic that may be able to do the repair cheaper. He is reputable and has worked on the car before. Will he need special tools to do so. Thanks

down load a copy of the JTIS program. It will tell you the procedure and if you need any special tools. It is in the stickies.

Didn't you ask the same thing in another thread? Again, simple answer is yes, very easy for a competent mechanic that has worked on Jaguar cars to manage. Bleeding is tricky.

Download JTIS as previously mentioned in both posts...
