Just got this Jaguar and wasn't in the pass side yet. The wife got in and found the power seat would not adjust the front up/down. Being the curious type I looked on line and found how to remove the seat. Once removed I took the motor out for this function and tested the plug. +/-12 VDC when activated (go figure). Well again the curiosity got me and I took the motor apart. When I put the ohm meter on the leads from the plug to the brushes one side shows 2 ohms and the other is 22. Can anyone tell me if this is correct? I took and added a bit of solder to the connection point which brought the ohms down to 1 and the motor is now working. Again can anyone tell me if one side is supposed to have a high reading? If so there may be something else wrong which may rear its ugly head at a later time.
