Default 2002 S Type Fuel Pump

Need to buy a new Fuel Pump. I would like a recommendation as to which one woul be a good choice.. Thanks! for any responses

personally, I would settle for an OEM replacement fuel pump ($400 - $500). They now have pumps ($80 - $100) you can splice your fuel line into, bypassing the failed pump (not a fan of that option though) but is a much cheaper option. Or, on that same cost field ($80 - $140) you can get a used fuel pump assembly from a donor car.

Have you tested all associated fuses, relay and inertia switch? What about the fuel filter - did you change it?

Sometimes you may be lucky - if all was checked off than yes, a new fuel pump is in order.

Hi! Thanks for your quick response! Yes all fuses and inertia SW. OK, Didn't check fuel filter or relay, this car has 11,000 miles on it. It sits a lot. The pump went out while the car was still under waranty, about 4,000 miles on it at that time.
