Default Module Locations

Hi, Steven:

I have uploaded the module locations page from the Electrical Manual for your model S-type. I downloaded it from the same website you have been directed to by other posters on your many threads on the fuel delivery issue. The website is "JarRepair.com".

Good luck,

JR

Thank you. I've been sitting here for over an hour and back out to my car trying to find that thing. I got the same picture you sent me about 45 minutes ago but where is it? I unscrewed that large plastic thumb screw and pulled back the cardboard/carpet lining and reached inside but couldn't feel anything. Is it under the battery? It's not the black plastic box with the fuses and relays is it? Wouldn't think so. Hmmmm. Such a mystery.

I've seen that diagram but still couldn't find it until just now when I found this. I hope it helps others.

It is on the right side of the trunk behind the emergency gas door release. You'll need to remove the cover over the spare tire and then remove the plastic trim panel that surrounds the trunk latch. Then it is just unscrewing the plastic retainers that hold the right side trunk panel in. You'll then roll it towards the front of the car. The unit is mounted behind a brace towards the right side taillamp. I believe there are 4 bolts holding it in place.

This video shows the location, about halfway through:

Thank you for this. After spending a long time just to find out where the darn thing is I wonder now if I really need to tear into that part of the car just to verify I'm getting power to my fuel pump. I've jumped through flaming hoops and spend countless hours trying to get fuel to my fuel rail and still nothing.
New pump in the can and new canister style fuel filter under the front wheel well. Quadruple checks on relays and fuses...nothing. I'm unclear on what one person said about checking for ground though. That shop manual is a nightmare. 3,000 pages ! ! Is there a reason for me to dig in to that module at this point and if so, what do I do when I find it. Soooooooo much of a headache. It's been over 3 weeks now without my car ! !
Thanks for you help
