2003 Jag STR ethanol compatible?
Anyone know if fuel component, injectors, etc. were made to be compatible with ethanol mix gasoline? Starting to wonder about what I may need to start changing if this isn't the case, to prevent a complete systems meltdown.
Ok. I wasn't worried so much about performance but rather some kind of eventual fuel line replacement, injector, engine tear down, rubber seals....which for an STR is an "um not gonna", even for a gearhead like myself.
Jags have been E10 compatible for a long, long time. The owners manual for my 1985 Jagsays it's OK E10. In my part of the country E10 has been standard issue for 20+ years; I've had no problems
