Default 2003 jaguar s type 3.0 passenger seat

2003 jaguar s type 3.0 passenger seat will not move forward or backwards but all other functions work. I have checked fuses and they are all good. I have unbolted the seat and am checking wiring and all seems to be just fine. Any ideas or has anyone solved this issue?

I had that issue one day with the driver seat. I let someone drive my car and he thought that there was manual seats so he pulled something under the seat. When I took it back, I put my hand under the seat I felt something kinda loose and and I push it to the floor.
I know that it's not very clear, but you should look under your seat if something is loose.

When you move the switch, is there any response from the motor? Just trying to determine if this is an electrical issue or a problem with the drive unit.

^^ This.

My driver seat wouldn't go up and down, I lived with it for years. I felt the electric motor try but it wouldn't move. Finally last year I decided to fix it and removed the seat. The seat was stuck all the way down - the screw drive mechanism was stuck all the way down. I disconnected the electric motors and freed the mechanism with some WD40 and elbow grease. Works fine now.

As mentioned by ultrap13 the seat motors can jam at the end of travel. Often all that is needed is to turn them a couple of turns by hand to free them, and then try not to go to the full limit of travel again.
