Any other XK owners, does the seat bottom move up and down on your passsenger seat??

Mine feels like the button won't even move up and down.

(a drawback which has not escaped the attention of herself.)

 

The passenger seat on my 2003 does not. It was too low for my wife, so I actually took some 1 inch square aluminum tubing, cut some pieces to go at each corner, and then bought some longer bolts to hold it all together. It works quite well. It raised the seat up high enough to make my wife comfortable.

 

I beleive it was an option. Mine doesn't move either.

 

My car's passenger seat does not have hieght adjustment either, I have seen some websites that list the both the drivers and passenger seats have the same adjustability but it is certainly not the case on my car.

I believe the Recaros are the only seats equipped with this ability.

 

The passenger seat on my 2005 XKR does move up and down and the controls are the same as the driver side. However, I have the Reccaro seats option.

 

Silverstone
On my Silverstone the passenger seat does not move up and down. I don't know if that was a option. Have you registered on the Silverstone registry?

I can't believe that it was an option in 2001, or else ours would have had it.

From what i've seen, the only two options available on the Silverstone was the Phone and the Navigation, and i have both of those...

It must have only come out sometime after 2001.

Yes, i've registered, it was listed in the December issue of the on-line mag, but not on the registry website yet. I need to send them some pictures, they only have the shot from the dealership ad.

 

Nope mine does not thank god less the misses sees when I'm driving the better!

 

My '05 XKR does have the up and down, same as the left seat.
