Default 2003 S-Type Valve Cover Torque Specs

I have the issue with oil collecting in the spark plugs causing hesitation and code P1316 in my 2003 S-Type with 6 cylinder 3.0 engine. This seems to be a common issue. It started a burning smell one year and 25,000 miles after replacing all coils and spark plugs for similar engine faults. Now, with 106,000 miles total, I am replacing the valve cover gaskets as well as the upper and lower intake gaskets.

I have not been able to find the torque specifications and torque sequence for this vehicle. Can anyone please post this information?

Thanks,
Maurice

Yes it is in the shop manual. Jaguar calls it the JTIS.
It's a free download on this forum.

Details on Win7 64 bit new install method & new JTIS21 S-Type archive ( 1 2)

Don't forget to replace your IMT o-rings while you are at it!

Thanks for the help. Much easier with the proper information. I did buy Fel-Pro gasket kits for both the valve covers and for the intake manifold. The upper intake manifold came with the o-rings for the IMT. Hopefully the valve cover gasket will not be a problem. The one that I removed had full coverage around the valve cover bolt holes. The Fel-Pro gasket doesn't (covers only one side of bolt, some inside and some outside).
