Hello looking for advice as i am about to start putting engine back together
but after reading the work shop manual i am more confused than ever
this is for the bed plate to engine block for crankshaft
Example torque to 20nm then 150 degrees
i was to believe they are torque to yield bolts and can only be used once
But in the work shop manual it says you can reuse

Has any one reused these bolts
i had a go and yes one snapped off in engine block
I have also tried to find new ones but with no

 

they are not reusable ever. ignore the workshop manual it is garbage. use repair course 168
