I bought a 2005 Jaguar S-Type that needed the sun roof repaired. I have the headliner out and the sun roof frame out. I drilled the rivets and started to pull the end piece only to find out there is black sealer holding it on there. Is there a good technique to remove the sealer? It looks like it is stuck on really well.
My only encounter with a sunroof so far was with the sunroof of my X-Type when I replaced the interior roof-liner.
But looking at your parts: Are you sure those parts are meant to be taken apart and why would you want to do that?
But if I should guess: The only possibility to get those parts apart would be, if Jaguar had used the same kind of sealant, which they use on the headlights. And if that is the case, you would be able to soften the sealant by using a heat-gun and heating those parts up. Just give it a go, but be careful not to damage the plastic parts.
Webasto was the Moonroof supplier.
Attached is their document that might help with the details on the roof. I don't know if they still sell service parts or not but there are part numbers listed in the document.
That is Butyl sealant and is a pain to remove. No good suggestions other than keep at it!

But - Karl - I think he meant it differently. Thus, next time I am dealing with a stubborn bolt, I might just pour some beer over it, and see, if that helps...
