Default 2005 s type 3.0 radiator fan help

On my 05 s type 3.0, I don't believe the radiator fan is coming on at all. While driving the car, the temp gage never rises higher than normal, but if I lift the hood, it sure seems hot in there. Not sure how long this has been going on or what to check but would appreciate ideas. FYI, I had replaced the upper radiator hose assembly a couple years ago, and I used a URL hose against better judgement to save money. That URL hose split open last week and I just finished installing a new factory OEM hose, and noticed the non running fan during drive and leak checking new hose.

try putting your a/c on auto on max cold , and the fan should strike up full tilt .
the fan only runs if needed otherwise . and ramps up and down its rpm too.
some times they are running at such low rpm you can hardly hear it or feel the air flow for that matter.
these engine bays do run ridiculously hot for my liking too .
but is the norm !
if the fan was not running you would have seen the gauge spike by now ,as it will boil in stationary running situations .

Thank you for your reply on my question. Btw, I noticed my spellcheck on first post changed URO to URL.
