2005 S type parking brake module

Need parking brake module on 2005 S Type. Is it available, or on back order? What about purchasing a used one?

Not sure about it being back ordered, I have a good one out of a 2003 str with 95,000.

If I may ask, exactly what are the symptoms that led you to look for a replacement parking brake module? What troubleshooting has been done?

In many cases, external factors (such as battery condition) can cause a parking brake fault, and the module itself is fine. You may find this "scorecard" thread of interest:

One big clue is if you're also getting a cruise control and DSC (optional) fault at the same time.
