2006 jaguar s type 3.0 sport 159km AC COMPRESSOR
Good afternoon everyone!
Hope all is going well!
I noticed in the past week or so...that I do not hear the AC compressor engaging while I have been running the car....I checked the fuse, F32 in the engine bay, and it didn't look burnt out.
Now, the weather today is -10c and the past week it has been -20c, windchills of around -30c
Can it be because it is so cold outside that it will not kick in?
I am experiencing no foggy windows on the inside of the car, unless I go through a car wash, it will go away after in a few min or I turn the climate setting down to LOW - the lowest temp setting, which after about 5 min I will get a little bit of foggy in the top corners of my windscreen.
I just had it replaced a year in a half ago, which the new unit should have lasted longer than this.
Thanks in advance guys,
SIXX

Hey Sixx long time........Could be because of the extreme cold patch you guys are experiencing up that way.
Easiest way to see/hear AC compressor. Make sure AC is on (climate control) crank it down to say 65 degrees or so, open the hood on a sunny day or have flashlight handy and take a peek to see if the clutch is engaged.
Getting ready for spring are ya?
