Default 2006 s type play dvds?

Good morning everyone!!!
I didn't want to put a dvd in the system without asking if it could play dvd's.....With my luck this car will lock up and not start if I tried to play one!!!!

Is it possible to play dvds?

Nope it can't. The Nav system is DVD based, but that is a separate drive. All the other drives are CD only. Hope that helps..

no, your nav is a DVD-ROM not DVD player.

Unfortunately, no, it won't play 'entertainment' DVDs. Only way to make that happen is to install an aftermarket DVD player (for movies), and tap into the video feeds going into the screen, then get the audio into the amps. Pain in the rump to do.
