Would this FPS OEM# AJ87977 also fit the 2006 year ? In some websites it says that it only fits upto vin N52xx. My v8 S-Type vin ends in N54xx. Thanks

Thanks, I also use them. In fact the info in their website raised this question. I think they had only two model/years listed under Fitment, causing it make the AJ87977 incompatible ?

Later I found other sites listing many years and models which are compatible

 

When I run into this kind of stuff I send an E-mail to the parts department asking which part is correct.
I checked JEPC and it does not show a different sensor and lists only the part number you posted.
But I also found the dealer listings said it did not fit like you said but again no other part number was suggested?

I am having a tough time to confirm the use of NTk-FPC011 / AJ87977 / Ford #3R3E-9F972-AA / 3R3E-9F972-AB. Many sites say that these fit only upto 2004 for N.A S-type V8. S/C models are fine all the way
Has anyone used it on a 2006+ v8 N.A S-Type? Thanks
