Default 2006 stype 3.0 headlight and windshield washer

Hello all!
Is there a way with my car that I can just wash the windshield...instead of both the headlight and windshield being washed at the same time? The head light washers are frozen on my car and I do not want to damage them...its -15 tonite

Thanks

If it's 15 below zero outside, I wouldn't run the risk of using the washer fluid system at all. You don't want to be running electric motors that would try to push frozen fluid through your tubes. That's a sure-fire way to cause your electric motors to seize up....

The headlight washers only work if the headlights are on. In weather like this, I splash some washer fluid on the snow and ice accumulation over the washer covers which loosens them up.
