2008 S-type belly pan
I have a 2008 S Type with just a bit over 55,000 miles. It has a belly pan. The car is only driven on paved city street around our neighborhood with a 10-25 trip occasionally
I usually change my own oil and fluids on a regular basis. I'm 80 years and removing and installing the pan on the floor is pain in the ........
Would it be reasonable to run without it?

what are you accessing? can you just attack it with a holesaw where you need access? I've found most plastic understrays end up in a million bits in a very short time in australia. Modern cars simply sit for to low for our roads.
I wouldn't be concerned for even 1 second about removing an understray
(unless maybe it was an air cooled car that heavily relied on air flow through specific areas).

Thanks for the replies. I'm driving on paved street around our small town. Next time I do an oil change I'll leave it off.

saves me removing it I guess. weird 'cos its only had two owners from new .... and looks to have only had jaguar specialists service i t....
