I have been looking around on the forums about putting a 3:31 rear end in a S-Type R. I have seen that it will not work because of a programing issue. Can the transmission ecm be programed with 6 cylinder software with a IDS? I have a older version of IDS on my computer with a VCM, or is there another way around it?

 

You should ask Cambo. Maybe send him a PM. I think he found a work-around for the TCM/limp-mode issue
