Default '99 S-Type Window Regulator compatibility
Hi Folks,

I need a new window regulator as mine just broke.

Are all regulators compatible throughout the various facelifts?

Is it possible to fit one from the X-Type?

I don't know but the Lincoln LS ones will fit.

I'm a little bit confused. Maybe you could enlighten me.

I found this one on Ebay, specifiedt for the '99 S-Type:

The early Lincoln LS and the X200 units will interchange. The regulator dimensions were changed with the introduction of the X202.

Another thing you might want to check is exactly what has broken. Often it is just the plastic sliders that need replacing (also available on Ebay).
